Information for Students

Students who are currently enrolled in a course at Western Sydney Institute are given online access to various services.

These services assist students to complete online components of their course, access and update their details, check their results and when they are course complete, apply for positions online.

Students can access online services on campus at the library or through the wireless network.

Always remember you can discuss your progress with any of your teachers.

Whatever your study goals are, we want to make your time at TAFE NSW as enjoyable, safe and rewarding as possible.

Whether you are just deciding what to study or you have your career plan sketched out, we have a full range of support services and flexible study options for you. At your first class, or during online orientation, your teacher will give you other essential information about TAFE NSW and your course, and will be able to answer questions.

Student Portal

You will receive information about how to register for Student Portal when you enrol. Use Student Portal to:

  • keep your contact details current
  • view your enrolment details and unit/module results
  • request a transcript of results
  • view your employer details
  • view notifications and calendar information such as scheduled TAFE NSW final examinations
