Michael Rohanek


Teaches Performance, Music Theory, Logic Pro X composition, Ableton Live & Push, Native Instruments, Maschine, Arranging with Sibelius, Piano and is the department TVET Coordinator.

B.Mus.Ed (Syd. Con). Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE)

Michael currently plays piano, key and is MD for Todd McKenney, Rhonda Burchmore, and countless local Sydney bands. Michael has performed onstage for many artists including Deni Hines, Christine Anu, Michael Crawford, John Waters, Monique Montez, Tamsin Carroll, Jenny Morris, Darren Percival, Shannon Noll, Jess Mauboy, and local bands such as Gotham city horns, Funkstar, Brown Sugar amongst others.

Michael using Apple Macintosh computers, Logic Pro X, Roland, Korg, Moog, Native Instruments, Spitifire Audio, Spectrasonics. He has composed music for several short films and wants to do more.

Michael is an exceptionally proud curator of two boys and will one day win awards for his fabulous wood fired pizza.

Favourite Ashes Series: 2005, England. England won 2-1.

Favourite Pizza: Margherita.
