GreenSkills Hub

The Green Skills Hub is a state-of-the-art energy efficient building located at TAFE NSW - Nirimba in Quakers Hill. The Green Skills Hub models sustainable technology, design, and practices and delivers a range of green/environmentally friendly skills sets in a range of discipline areas including Building, Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, Refrigeration and Information Technology. These disciplines engage with the hub in an innovative manner that allows for the sharing of ideas, resources and practices.

The Green Skills Hub is home to the latest training in carbon dioxide refrigeration technology and solar panel systems. Through the use of this facility TAFE NSW is able to address national training needs in new green technologies.

The facility also includes a community centre which provides opportunities for the public to view, interact with and monitor the impact of green design principles and technologies. The area is also used by our industry partners to run seminars and display new technologies, including renewable energy, heating and cooling and water recycling.

A virtual tour is available for the Green Skills Hub.
