Sandra Lucock

Sandi has over 25 years of experience teaching and working in Graphic Design industry. Specialising in publication design, Sandi has experience in magazine design, corporate identity, typography, illustration and photography. Sandi was the 2009 recipient of the NSW Quality Teaching Award - she enjoys making her classes fun and creative – but ensures her students have an attention to detail in all their work. She enjoys ‘thinking’ about rock climbing, abseiling, base jumping and mountaineering.

Craig Daalmeijer-Power

Acting Head Teacher of Visual Arts, Design & Photography at NADC.

With over 20 years experience in teaching and working in the creative industry, Craig has worked in many areas including the military, multimedia, web and photographic imagery.

Craig likes to challenge the students to use technique and style in their approaches to design and to enjoy the new experiences they are exposed to. Craig enjoys typography, Digital Publishing, drawing,infra-red photography, handcoloring, landscapes, technical challenges, design and fine arts, especially the Gothic and Renaissance periods.

Xanthe Allsep

Xanthe Allsep

Xanthe has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in the design industry. Specialising in interior design, Xanthe has expertise in commercial interior design, hospitality interior design as well as smaller residential design projects. She has gained her expertise from working with interior design and architectural practices and continues to work on design projects with her own practice. Xanthe enjoys working with students to achieve creative and innovative design outcomes.

Ken Morgan

Ken Morgan

With over 30 years of experience working in the design industry and 24 years of teaching design in vocational education, Ken has expertise in graphic design, illustration, visual merchandising, display and signage. Ken enjoys developing student skills to produce effective designs. Ken is passionate about teaching in a practical style, and applying theory into practice, which his students learn at TAFE.

Joanna Nestoroski

Joanna Nestoroski

Joanna has 30 years design experience. Specialising in architecture, interior and urban design and working with eminent private and public practices as well as maintaining her own Joanna possesses a valuable experience across design disciplines. Joanna has expertise in complex residential, educational, health, commercial and mix use environments. Her aspiration to inspire her students and her passion for sustainable design combined with creative design methodologies assist her students in achieving original and innovative design solutions.

Anita Nau-Kleinmann

Anita Nau-Kleinmann

Anita has over 30 years of experience teaching and working in the Graphic Design and Printing Industry. Specialising in typography, Anita has expertise in advertising, print production, publication design and the history of typography. Anita enjoys working with students to create modern design using the latest technologies. Anita is also the studio manager at ‘deefa Design Studio’, which is a working design studio at NADC. She also enjoys being on stage as an actor or director, having great dinners with friends and doing charity work.

Coleen English-Thomas

Coleen English-Thomas

Coleen has over 20 years experience in the graphic design industry and has been teaching since 2004. Specialising in print design, Coleen's expertise is in publication design and digital illustration.

Coleen enjoys continually topping up her design and technical skills to stay relevant and passionate for her students. She loves "tea and bikkies" and a chat as well as family holidays and aspires to be a bird watcher when she grows up.

Shirley Gavin

Shirley Gavin

Shirley has over 10 years of experience teaching and working in the design industry. Specialising in architectural drafting, Shirley has expertise in domestic and commercial interior design. Shirley has her own practice and works locally within the Nepean area. She is an active member of the Penrith Chamber of Commerce so has her finger on the pulse as what’s going on in this area and networking with other business people.

She brings a wealth of experience and expertise and enjoys working with students to achieve their goals and working towards a career in Interior Design.

George Kozumplik

George has had over 20 years working in the graphic design industry, specialising in web design, publication and print production. George enjoys all aspects of design process, from the creativity at concept stage to the technical requirements of production.

George enjoys sharing the wealth of this experience, especially in web design, to his students – and believes in keeping his assignments ‘real’ with industry standards.

Teaching focus is Visual Merchandising and Design

I gained my design industry experience through 39 years of being involved in the retail industry. I have been the Visual Merchandising Manager for major retails companies and have won a number of awards for my Visual Merchandising designs. I have been a TAFE teacher for 20 years and love passing on my industry and technical knowledge to my students and I find it very rewarding to see my students learn new skills and I love being part of that process.

Michael McPherson

Michael McPherson

Mike has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in the Graphic Design industry. Specialising in print design, Mike has expertise in most computer based print media. He has gained this from working in a diverse range of industries and applying his design knowledge to various mediums. Mike enjoys life in general. He likes to have fun, exploring new technologies, and interacting with other people. He enjoys working with the students to help enhance and mature some extremely talented young designers.

Sajith Wijesekera

Sajth is a graduate of the Nepean Arts & Design Centre and has over 10 years of experience teaching and working in the Graphic Design industry. Specialising in print design, Sajith has experience in high quality print and publication design. He works as a graphic Designer locally and likes to impart his industry knowledge and instil the right attitude to his students. To be a successful designer you need to enjoy work and laugh loudly – but get down to business and work hard when a deadline looms.

Kerrey Williams

Kerrey is a graduate of the Nepean Arts and Design Centre has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in the Interior decoration industry. Kerrey is an interior colour specialist, has a keen eye for style and keeps abreast of changes in industry technologies and trends. She has gained her expertise from working with her own practice. Kerry is a highly organised person who enjoys working with students to achieve professional creative projects.

Adam Wolnicki

Adam Wolnicki

Adam is a graduate of the Nepean Arts and Design Centre and has over 10 years of experience teaching and working in the Interior design industry. Adam is a talented illustrator and ArchiCAD specialist. He has a keen eye for style and keeps abreast of changes in industry technologies and trends. Adam runs the open computer access each Tuesday night – come along and receive specialist assistance in ArchiCAD.
