Trade course are the backbone of the construction industry and provide genuine career pathways across a large variety of construction and construction related industries and include carpenters, plumbers, electrician, shopfitters bricklayers, roof tilers and many more.
Trade course are usually completed as part of an Apprenticeship/Traineeship program, but this may not be essential to undertaking a trade related qualification.

These programs can be customised to suit your needs or the needs of the employer, e.g. full time day, part time evening, distance and online delivery or a blended option may be most suitable.
Recognition of your skills
You may have significant work or life experience and therefore already have the skills and knowledge for a range of units. If this sounds like you, an assessment pathway to recognize those skills may be for you. It’s a “fast track” process that can, depending on the your skills, knowledge and experience deliver you the qualification you need in a short timeframe.
Pre - employment programs
Opportunities exist for job seekers to undertake partial trade qualification while in the process of finding employment. These programs are sometimes referred to as pre-apprenticeship programs. They may not available in all trade areas.
