Australian Graduate Management Consortium

AGMC Logo Updated

The Australian Graduate Management Consortium (AGMC) is a unique joint initiative between Charles Sturt University (CSU) and TAFE NSW, offering a dedicated pathway for TAFE graduates with supervisory/managerial experience and other professional attainments to undertake Masters level studies. Students are not required to have completed a bachelor degree as AGMC programs are designed to progressively help build strong foundational knowledge, operational skills and strategic capabilities in management.

AGMC programs are delivered face-to-face at our TAFE Western Sydney, Blacktown College, 6pm-9pm, twice a week (days to be confirmed) and are tailored to suit busy professionals.

AGMC programs take an applied approach and students will be challenged to draw on their professional experiences and solve management problems within their own organisation.

Graduate Certificate & Diploma in Management (Professional Practice)

The Graduate Certificate in Management (Professional Practice) is designed to develop applied knowledge and skills in key areas of business management. The program comprises four subjects covering key organisational functions such as financial management, human resource management, marketing and organisational management, which can be studied in one year part-time. The program progressively builds academic capabilities and prepares you for more advanced postgraduate study.

Completion of the course provides entry as well as full credit into the AGMC Graduate Diploma of Management (Professional Practice) and CSU’s Master of Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The Graduate Diploma of Management (Professional Practice) is workplace-focused and builds on skills developed in the Graduate Certificate in Management (Professional Practice) by providing advanced knowledge in key areas such as business ethics, leadership, operations management and project management. The four subjects can be completed in one year part-time.

Completion of this course gives you guaranteed entry with full credits into CSU's Master of Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the opportunity to develop advanced strategic management knowledge and skills.
