Do you have a dream of running your own Pet Business? Do you want to be your own
boss and indulge your passion and love for animals? This informative workshop
will help get your started in establishing your own pet related business. Learn
how to create your niche business, whilst still adhering to legislative, tax and
animal welfare requirements.

Your trainer for the day has more than 30 years of experience in companion
animal business operations and has recently developed her business on animal
training and advice services for pet owners. She has been a pet shop manager for
over 15 years and is in charge of staff training, recruitment, store policy
development and implementation. She has qualifications in Companion Animal
Services, Behaviour and training of canines, Financial Services (Accounting),
and has many years' experience in administration and bookkeeping for small
business.

Your Presenter at this seminar is Kathy Reidy. Kathy has more than thirty years experience in companion animal business operations, and has been running her own consulting business on animal training and advice services for pet industry businesses. She has been a consultant for many small industry businesses including Pet Retail Stores, Dog Daycare, Boarding Facilities, Grooming (Mobile & Salon) and Dog Training businesses. Kathy has qualifications in Companion Animal Services, Behaviour and Training of Canines, Financial Services (Accounting), Small Business Management and Business Administration. Kathy's dedication to the industry has been recognised by prestigious awards for her many years and services to the animal care industry.

The above list includes units being offered at this campus and that are required to complete this qualification. Other colleges may offer different elective options.
