This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:
- develop preliminary employability skills and knowledge at AQF level 1
- identify realistic education, employment or community engagement goals and appropriate training pathways
- participate in a formal, supported learning environment.

You will attend 2.5 days per week. The timetable will be available at the beginning of February. Full day classes begin at 9:00am and finish at 2:30pm. The half day class will begin at 9:00am to finish at 11:00am.

Credit (or recognition) for modules/units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and/or life experiences. Please discuss this with the teaching section when you enrol.

This course is the first step in a series of courses to further training in employability skills and helps you go on to further training and to get a job.
