This course is designed to provide beginners, who have no experience, with basic welding skills. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Manual Metal Arc Welding (also known as STICK) including equipment use and safety. This course is suitable for the general public or anyone wanting to develop basic welding skills. There are no pre-requisites for this course.

This course is an Introduction only.

All PPE is required: long sleeved cotton drill work wear (Trousers and Shirt), welding helmet shade 10-11, steel capped boots, safety glasses, welding gloves/ gauntlets.
