This is an introductory course in behaviour of dogs and how they communicate.
This course is suitable for anyone working with dogs - vet nurses, dog owners,
pet sitters or people considering a career in animal behaviour.

This 3 hour seminar is presented by a fully qualified animal scientist, animal
behaviourist, vet nurse and animal trainer/zookeeper.

This introductory seminar is designed to give you an introduction into the aspects of canine behaviour based on how a dog communicates, and the interpretations of body language for observing and interpreting behaviour. You will learn to understand the ways in which dogs perceive the world, and be able to identify the way they communicate to us and each other. The Advanced Canine Behaviour Seminar is on in the afternoon on the same day.

The introductory seminar is suitable for anyone with an interest in dogs or working with dogs. It is a must for dog trainers, dog attendants, vet nurses, dog walkers, puppy class instructors and dog owners.

The presenter is Rosalie Horton BAnSc (Behaviour). Rosalie is Senior Animal Behaviourist with Animal Welfare League NSW. Rosalie is a fully qualified animal scientist, behaviourist, vet nurse, animal trainer and zookeeper, as well as having her own animal behaviour consultancy.
