TAFE Statement for Early Childhood Conference is for early childhood educators who are interested in developing practical skills and knowledge to support them in their job role.

An EARLY BIRD fee of $175 for people who enrol and pay up to the 25 February 2019 After this time, the fee will be $200.

Keynote speaker: Sandra Cheeseman

Each participant will attend 2 workshops. Workshops include:
School readiness - Reclaiming the preschool years
Dancing and singing with the stars through the language of music
Working with vulnerable families and the aftermath of traumatic even
Inclusion - your pledge for the future
Let's include the E in STEM
Reflective practice and leadership
Sustainable cooking with children
Embedding culture authentically

If during or after your enrolment, the course in which you are enrolled is updated in line with national industry standards, the Institute reserves the right to transition you into an alternate course. If this becomes necessary, the Institute will advise you of the change and the arrangements which will be available for you to complete your alternate course.

There are no entry requirements.

Credit (or recognition) for modules/units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and/or life experiences. Please discuss this with the teaching section when you enrol.

The above list includes units being offered at this campus and that are required to complete this qualification. Other colleges may offer different elective options. For some courses the electives will not be listed however they will be discussed during your first class. Saturday from 8.30 am for 8 hours per day (subject to change)
