This course will give you the skills to groom your own dog. This will not only save you money, but will allow your dog to be groomed in the comfort and stress-free environment of its own home.
This course will give you skills to groom your own dog. This will not only save you money, but will allow your dog to be groomed in the comfort and stress-free environment of its own home. You will learn how to: Bathe and blow-dry your dog, Cut your dog's toenails, Clip your dog's coat, Maintain grooming gear, Restrain your dog for grooming, Handle your dog for grooming. The classroom is an air conditioned dog grooming facility. All grooming equipment and products are provided, however if you already have grooming gear (clippers and blades etc) you are welcome to bring your own.Lunch is provided as our canteen is not open on Saturdays. Please bring your dog on a lead and also bring a towel to the class. Learners will need to wear sensible clothing such as a removable smock or over shirt, and closed shoes. Pet Industry Association of Australia members receive a 10% discount on this course. Please quote your PIAA membership number at the time of enrolment to receive the discount.
