Part Time Day
This workshop is designed to provide information to Vet Nurses and Professionals in the canine industries and Owners of aged dogs. The focus will be on caring for older/aged/disabled dogs using natural and physical therapies associated with giving such dogs a better quality of life, and maintaining conditions associated with aging.
This workshop is designed to cover the process of providing the fundamental information to Vet Nurses, Professionals in the canine industry and owners of aged dogs on Caring for the Older/Aged/Disabled Dog, with natural and physical therapies associated with giving such dogs a better quality of life and maintaining conditions associated with ageing.
Topics covered will include:
- Anti-ageing treatments
- Diet and nutrition
- Health checks
- Diseases and conditions associated with ageing
- Complimentary therapies
- Aids to assist the aged dog
You are not required to bring a dog to this class. Students should wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes.
Your Teacher is Sharon Osmond. With qualifications from the National College of Traditional Medicine in Herbal Medicine and Equine Nutrition, Naturopathy and Myofunctional Therapy,
Sharon will show you how ageing dogs can have the best possible quality of life.

Course cost: $165
Pet Industry Association of Australia members receive a 10% discount on this course. Please quote your PIAA membership number at the time of enrolment to receive the discount.
$5 per participant photocopying, $15 per participant catering, $6 per participant certificate, $100 contribution to Saturday Security costs. $165 cost per participant minimum of 10.
Start Date: 17 Nov 2018
Part Time Day: 6 hours per week x 1 Week
One Saturday from 9.30 am to 4 pm for 6 hours per day (subject to changes).
