This one day intensive workshop introduces students to the field of domestic
animal behavioural modification. This workshop demonstrates the techniques used
by behaviourists and trainers to address common behavioural issues. This course
only demonstrates and endorses positive reinforcement techniques and techniques
endorsed by the Association of Animal Behaviour Professionals. Students are
encouraged to complete the seminars; Introduction to Canine Behaviour and
Advanced Canine Behaviour and Solving Pet Behaviour Issues prior to attending
this course.

Covered footwear and sun protection is necessary. Your teacher for this workshop
is a fully qualified animal scientist, animal behaviourist, vet nurse, animal
trainer and zookeeper. She is an experienced animal behaviour expert who manages
the behaviour department at a leading animal shelter in Sydney as well as having
her own animal behaviour consultancy.

The workshop demonstrates the techniques used by behaviourists and trainers to address common behavioural issues. This course demonstrates only those positive reinforcement techniques endorsed by the Association of Animal Behaviour Professionals.

Your Trainer is Rosalie Horton BAnSc (Behaviour). Rosalie is Senior Animal Behaviourist with Animal Welfare League NSW. Rosalie is a fully qualified animal scientist, behaviourist, vet nurse, animal trainer and zookeeper, as well as having her own animal behaviour consultancy.
