You will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes safety boots, long drill trousers and a drill shirt or your work uniform as long as that uniform includes the above.

Smart and Skilled Student Fees

The cost of this course will vary based on your eligibility for a Smart and Skilled Student Fee. Eligibility criteria can be found on the Smart and Skilled website or you can call us on 131 870 for further information and advice.

First qualification$2,410
Non-government subsidised fee$7,300

Apprenticeships: To be eligible for the Smart and Skilled Apprentice fee you must be a registered Apprentice.

Trainees: From 2016 if you are starting a traineeship that is on the NSW Skills List, your Smart and Skilled fee for the whole qualification will not be more than $1,000.

In addition to your Course Fee you will also need to pay a materials charge of $600 for workbooks and the use of course related materials.

When enrolling under a Smart and Skilled entitlement and where you are eligible for 100% credit from previous studies, your student fee contribution will be zero. However, you will be required to pay an administration fee for the production of your testamur.

Part Time Day: 8 hours per week x 2 Years

8 hours per week on a Monday, 8am - 4.45pm

To enrol at Mount Druitt College please contact the Automotive section on 92086345, 92086344, or 92086343 to arange an apointment. Please bring your apprenticeship paperwork. Alternatively attend the campus Automotive section between 22/1/18 to 2/2/18 for enrolments. Operating hours are between 8am to 5pm.
