Part Time Day
This course follows on after the 'Introduction to Canine Behaviour' Seminar and
shows participants how to assess dog behaviour and to modify problem behaviours,
often seen by canine behaviour consultants. This 3 hour seminar is aimed at
providing highly technical and advanced information to people working with dogs.
It is recommended that participants attend the Introduction to Canine Behaviour
seminar before attending this advanced course.
This seminar is for those seeking an in-depth knowledge of dog behaviour and behavioural management. The course introduces you to the work of a Canine Behaviourist and will show you how to observe and interpret canine behaviour. Students will be shown techniques to use in assessing behaviour and modifying common problem behaviours. This course aims to provide highly technical and advanced information in a comprehensive way for people who don't have a PhD.
People working with dogs, or with an interest in behaviour, behavioural consultants and behaviour enthusiasts will all benefit from attending this course.

Presenter is Rosalie Horton BAnSc (Behaviour). Rosalie is Senior Animal Behaviourist with Animal Welfare League NSW. Rosalie is a fully qualified animal scientist, behaviourist, vet nurse, animal trainer and zookeeper, as well as having her own animal behaviour consultancy.

This course will run subject to a sufficient number of pre-paid participants.
