Global youth travel conference to open doors to students

Tourism, hospitality and events students from TAFE NSW - Western Sydney Institute are proud to be volunteering for the World Youth & Student Travel Conference which is expected to attract up to 4000 people.

The students will work alongside events staff at the SCEC to process delegate registrations, assist with logistics and collect audiovisual content from the numerous educational seminars on offer at the Conference.

Now in its 22nd year, this September the World Youth & Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) will be coming to Sydney and for one special day will be putting on a specially-planned program that will allow students and tutors alike to learn about the latest youth travel industry trends, how to plan a career in the industry and how to develop personal skills through travel.

For over 20 years, WYSTC has been the premier international conference dedicated to youth, student and educational travel. After nearly a decade touring the globe since visiting Melbourne in 2006, this year the event will be at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre (SCEC) from 17-20 September. Each year WYSTC brings together more than hundreds of delegates from around the world for four days of networking, business appointments, educational sessions, trade fair promotion and spectacular social events.
